Training |
The
College of Engineering and Technology facilitates students to undergo Summer training in order to have an
Industrial exposure. The students undertake a training
for a total period of 8 weeks during the second and third
year of their B. Tech. Career. |
| Students of
Architecture undergo a training for six
months during their last year. Many different
organizations entertain our students for Summer Training.
The selection for the Summer training is based on Merit
of the students i.e. Position and OGPA in the Class. Each
student has to take up two different organizations for training one in second year and another in third year.
After the completion of the training the concerned organization has to send a confidential report to the
Training Officer about the performance of the candidate.
The students also get a chance to work in Live projects
during their training period. After the completion of the Training the student has to submit a Report to the Concerned H.O.D. and the Training officer. This will be in turn evaluated and an Interview is conducted to asses the candidate. Apart from that the Students presentation skills is tested by putting Training presentation as a part of their Final year Course curriculum. Each of this activity is a part of Course curriculum and evaluated on a 10 point scale individually and finally added to the Semester results.
