Manas Kumar Sahu from 1996 & Prashanta Pati of 2003 were the early birds to the event, followed by Subrat Panda from 1992 batch. By 12:30 everyone was gathered & the welcome drinks & starters were doing the rounds. While people settled down the round of introductions started off and the college banter was already audible. Then the assembled were divided into five groups and the game of “Guess the Personality� started off. The game was to guess the personality with the least amount of questions asked to the anchor who could only answer in a yes or no. The crowd needed a breather & were also left hungry with this exercise & so queued up towards the buffet table. After the lunch college updates were provided by the youngest batch present on the occasion, the batch of 2006. Kali Prasad Kanungo of 2003 batch apprised the assembled about the program of Need & Merit Scholarship that ensures meritorious student with need for funds in CET are provided with assistance. This is an initiative taken by a group of friends from the 2003 batch. Then Pinaki Mohapatra, the singer from 2002 batch amused all of us with his songs and kick started the floor for a round of antakshari. Finally the memento, a specially designed coffee mug with CET inscribed on it, so thoughtfully designed by Devashish Lenka was presented & people gathered along to pose for the shutterbugs & exchange visiting cards. Finally the people reluctantly made their way out to their homes with a pledge of making this a more regular fair. The batch of 2006 has taken the responsibility to ensure this and as a stepping stone for this a google group has been formed.

Special mention of Gopal Pradhan from 1997, Sashikant Mohanty of 1996, Manoj Swain of 1995 & Gautam Mahanti of 1999 has to be made for their tremendous support & encouragement.
