The Department of Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering has faculty specialized in Process Control and Instrumentation, Telecommunication Engineering, Digital Systems, Image Processing, Computational Theory, Control and Automation Engineering, Bio-Medical Instrumentation, Digital Control Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Microelectronics, Electronic Communication Systems etc.

The Microprocessor and PC Lab, Process Control Lab and Instrumentation & Devices Lab facilitates for Microprocessor and Computer based temperature, pressure, flow and level control, electrical, mechanical & electromechanical transducers, pressure & water level LVDT modeling and an in-house computer hardware repair and maintenance facility. The microprocessor and PC lab has a number of 8-bit/16-bit/32-bit processors and computers connected under the Linux and Unix OS to the Internet. Other software packages installed include PSPICE, Visual Studio, MATLAB, JAVA etc. are used for Computer Aided projects.
