1.0 Admission Requirements
Admission to Degree courses in Civil,Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation
& Electronics, Information Technologyand B.Arch is made through a "Joint Entrance Examination" conducted each year for admission
to the undergraduate degree courses in Engineering Colleges of State
and Orissa quota seats in Regional Engineering Colleges and Technological
Institutes outside Orissa. The college admits state candidates only.
The intake strength is as follows:

The details of eligibility, reservation, medical requirements and procedures for
admission etc. are given in the Information Brochure for "Joint Entrance Examination" 2006.
1.1 Admission to 3 years Master in Computer Application (MCA) is open to state candidates only.
The minimum qualification for admissionis B.Sc / B.Com / B.A with statistics / Mathematics as
one of the subjects. Selection of candidates is done strictly on the basis of merit determined
in the Entrance Test.
1.2 Reservation of Seats
Some seats in Engineering and Architecture are reserved for SC, ST, Diploma Holders in
Engineering, Children of Green Card Holders, Defense Personnel & Physically Handicapped
Candidates of the state.
Detailed Information can be obtained from J.E.E (E&M) Brochures. 8% seats for S.C and 12%
for ST candidates are reserved in MCA course.
1.3 Transfer of students
Transfer of the students from colleges having capitation/donation/development fees systems
to colleges in which admission is made through Entrance test is not allowed as per directive
of Ministry of H.R.D, Government of India.
